Thankful Thursday

I am thankful that Stella is now registered for kindergarten. We went this morning for our appointment and handed in all our paperwork. Next year I will have a whole two and a half hours to myself, what am I going to do with my time?

I am thankful that Teddy goes to school. I love him to death, but that kid. Having to repeat things over and over again gets old really quickly. One would think putting shoes on to go to school would be a given, guess not. I hope it’s the age.

I am thankful there is no school tomorrow. Every day is a fight with Maizie about going to school. Once she gets there she’s fine and always has a great day, but getting her up and out the door is a challenge.

I am thankful that March is just about over. I always feel that February and March just suck (except for my anniversary). It’s cold, wet and snowy. I’m a cranky wench during those months. Once April gets here, it always seems to be a little brighter. Here’s to hoping I’m not a cranky wench much longer.

I am thankful for my husband Ted. Tomorrow will be our tenth anniversary. We have been through so much; better, worse, richer, poorer, sickness and health. I couldn’t imagine going through life with anyone else. I love you Sweetie.

  7. Happy Anniversary! You're right, March is the LONGEST month! Every time you get your hopes up about spring, winter bitch slaps you back into reality. I can't wait to turn the page and get outside! Bring on summer!
